CONTINUANCE: JANUS PROTOCOL

You are Subject 13.

You wake on a freezing concrete floor with no memory of arriving.

There is a locked door in front of you. Twelve lights above it. Five indicators glowing beside your name.

Then a speaker comes alive.

“Good. Motor function survived.”

The voice calls himself the Architect.

According to him, twelve chambers stand between you and the exterior. Each contains a Trial. Satisfy its condition and the next door opens.

Fail, and the chamber collects payment.

Simple.

Until you begin finding things that shouldn't exist.

Messages written for you before you arrived. Recordings you don't remember making. Files bearing your designation. Evidence that the Architect isn't telling you everything.

And scratched into the wall:

DON'T LET HIM KNOW YOU REMEMBER.

ENTER THE JANUS PROTOCOL

CONTINUANCE: JANUS PROTOCOL is a psychological horror puzzle game built around investigation, deduction, memory and choice.

Decode inscriptions. Examine crime scenes. Survive environmental Trials. Search corrupted archives. Tune into dead radio frequencies. Communicate with other Subjects. Question the Architect directly.

But solving the puzzle isn't always the hardest decision.

Sometimes you'll have to decide who to trust.

Sometimes you'll have to decide what information to reveal.

Sometimes there may be more than one answer.

And sometimes opening the door may be the worst thing you could do.

THE GAME REMEMBERS

Your decisions don't disappear when a Trial ends.

What you investigate, what you ignore, how often you ask for help, what you tell the Architect, who you trust and what you're willing to sacrifice can influence what happens later.

Two people can enter CONTINUANCE as Subject 13 and leave having experienced very different versions of the truth.

There are multiple routes.

Multiple outcomes.

And things hidden inside JANUS that the game will never tell you exist.

THIS IS A PUBLIC ALPHA

JANUS PROTOCOL is currently in active development.

This release is designed to test the Trials, story, difficulty, atmosphere and overall experience before the full release.

If you play, feedback is extremely valuable — especially if you encounter a bug, get stuck on a Trial, find something confusing, or discover something you think you weren't supposed to.

Headphones are highly recommended.

Mobile and desktop supported.

JANUS IS WATCHING.

THE ARCHITECT IS LISTENING.
